Welcome to Pristec AG
Pristec AG is a technology company for the global heavy oil industry, offering novelty technologies based on applied quanta mechanics. We provide highly sophisticated oil processing technologies that reduce investment, costs and environmental impact significantly. Our plug and play solution is focused to boost our clients profitability in short term. Thereby we optimize the infrastructure effectiveness along the whole crude oil value chain from upstream to midstream to downstream.
Heavy Oil Upgrading
As the International Energy Agency published their estimation that the peak of conventional crude oil production was surpassed in the year 2006, the global oil industry is increasingly looking out for heavier oil resources to satisfy the steadily growing demand for hydrocrabon fuel products.
Vast investment programs have been put in place in heavy oil hotspots like Canada, Venezuela or Brazil to exploit the huge reserves of heavy and extra-heavy crude oil and bitumen.
Pristec is focussing on this emerging industry segment providing technology innovations based on applied quantamechanics and atom physics. Pristec is currently performing the industrial roll-out with its first market ready technology generation that is highly economic and sets new benchmarks in terms of environmental friendlyness.
Pristec Interactive
As part of our communication initiative, Pristec created a new members area for our shareholders.
Beneath providing corporate financial and project status information as well as communication to shareholders, an interactive area is installed to offer a plattform for informal decision building on issues of strategic relevance.
The management appreciates constructive feedback of the shareholder base for constant further improvement. go to feedback>>
Heavy Oil coming up
Countries with significant resources of heavy and extra-heavy oil face various challenges to exploit those hydro-carbons for national and international energy markets.
Oilfield operators try to maximize their exploitable oil and to simultaneouly minimize both their costs and environmental impact. The governments of such countries are interested to realize maximum revenues from their natural resources.
Processing of Heavy Oils usually requires vast investments to convert them to high quality light products. The global refining capacity that is able to process heavy crude oils was in massive expansion during the last decade, such major development that was recently dramatically interrupted by the financial crisis and low oil prices.
Flexible Multi-Feedstock Refinery
Pristec integrated petroengineering expertise in order to develop a new heavy oil refinery scheme around the PQPR infrastructure that lacks any other cracking systems. The feedstock for the refinery can be within a wide range of extra-light to heavy to extra-heavy crude oils as well as heavy fuel oil. Beneath the PQPR units only atmospheric crude distillation units (CDU), gas treatment, catalytic reformer and hydrotreaters as well as hydrogen and sulfur plants are necessary. Read More
